Three full-length practice tests for the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure DevOps Professional (1Z0-1109-26) certification exam - 50 questions per test, 90 minutes, 68% to pass, unlimited retakes.
Every question is grounded in Oracle's official exam objectives and product documentation - written fresh for this course, not recycled from public dumps. Each test follows the official objective weighting, and about one question in five asks you to pick two correct answers, as the real exam does.
What you'll be tested on
- DevOps principles, microservices, Docker, OCI Container Registry, and Container Instances
- Infrastructure as code with Terraform and OCI Resource Manager
- CI/CD with the OCI DevOps service: code repositories, artifacts, build and deployment pipelines, and deployment strategies
- Container Engine for Kubernetes: cluster types, access, scaling, upgrades, networking, storage, and security
- DevSecOps: Vault keys and secrets, pipeline security, and container image security
- Monitoring and observability with the Monitoring, Logging, and Events services
Where candidates lose points
Two objectives carry 30% each - CI/CD with the OCI DevOps service, and container orchestration with OKE - so most of the exam is decided there. In the pipeline questions, the details that separate a right answer from a plausible one are usually stage types and their order, such as which stage validates a new version in a blue-green deployment before approval, and how rollbacks behave. In the OKE questions, expect specifics about node types, Kubernetes version support, load balancer settings, and storage classes rather than general Kubernetes theory. The smaller objectives, such as Resource Manager drift detection and Vault key protection modes, are short on volume but easy to lose if you skip them.
Sample question
In a blue-green deployment pipeline, which stage type runs custom logic to validate the new version in the green environment before the approval step?
- A. Wait stage
- B. Traffic Shift stage
- C. Trigger Deployment stage
- D. Invoke Function stage
Full explanations and 149 more questions like this are in the practice tests.
How long to prepare
If you already build and deploy containerized workloads on OCI, run OKE clusters, and have used the OCI DevOps service, 3-4 weeks of focused review on pipelines, deployment strategies, and OKE operations should be enough to sit the exam comfortably. Coming in without that hands-on experience, plan for closer to 6-8 weeks.
