Three full-length practice tests for the Oracle AI Database@Azure Architect Professional (1Z0-1147) certification exam - 50 questions per test, 90 minutes, 68% to pass, unlimited retakes.

Every question is grounded in Oracle's official exam objectives and product documentation - written fresh for this course, not recycled from public dumps.

What you'll be tested on

  • Oracle Database@Azure architecture, provisioning, and networking integration
  • Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure within Azure
  • Identity federation between Azure Entra ID and OCI IAM
  • High availability, backup, and disaster recovery across the two clouds
  • Monitoring, billing, and lifecycle management for multicloud database deployments

Where candidates lose points

Database@Azure is Oracle's newest architect-level track, built around the same domain structure Oracle uses across its Database@AWS and Database@Google Cloud siblings: onboarding and architecture, networking, provisioning and operations, identity, and HA/DR. The domain most candidates underestimate is networking - designing ODB network topologies, DNS resolution, and connectivity between an Azure VNet and the OCI-managed Exadata infrastructure involves concepts from two different cloud vocabularies at once, and it's easy to know each cloud's networking model individually while missing how Oracle's onboarding process ties them together. Identity federation between Entra ID and OCI IAM is the other common weak spot, since it requires understanding OCI's policy and compartment model well enough to reason about it from an Azure administrator's starting point.

Sample question

A team has provisioned Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure through Oracle Database@Azure and needs application servers running in an Azure VNet to reach the database over a private, low-latency connection without traversing the public internet. Which component of the Oracle Database@Azure architecture is primarily responsible for enabling this connectivity?

  • A. An OCI Object Storage pre-authenticated request
  • B. An ODB network peered with the customer's Azure VNet
  • C. An Azure Application Gateway configured with a public IP
  • D. An OCI IAM dynamic group matching the VNet's resource tag

How long to prepare

If you already work with both Azure networking/IAM and OCI Exadata concepts day to day, two to three weeks of focused review is a reasonable target given the 50-question, 90-minute format. If one side of that pairing is new to you - most candidates come in strong on one cloud and weaker on the other - budget closer to four to five weeks so the cross-cloud identity and networking material has time to sink in.
