Three full-length practice tests for the Oracle AI Database@Google Cloud Architect Professional (1Z0-1148) certification exam - 50 questions per test, 90 minutes, 68% to pass, unlimited retakes.

Every question is grounded in Oracle's official exam objectives and product documentation - written fresh for this course, not recycled from public dumps.

What you'll be tested on

  • Oracle Database@Google Cloud architecture and provisioning within GCP
  • Exadata Database Service on Dedicated Infrastructure in a GCP region
  • Identity federation between Google Cloud IAM and OCI IAM
  • Networking, connectivity, and high availability across the two clouds
  • Monitoring, billing, and lifecycle management for multicloud database deployments

Where candidates lose points

Oracle built Database@Google Cloud on the same architect-level blueprint as its Database@AWS and Database@Azure siblings, so the exam leans heavily on onboarding/architecture, networking, provisioning and operations, identity, and HA/DR. The networking domain trips up the most candidates: reasoning about an ODB network peered into a GCP VPC, private connectivity to Exadata infrastructure, and DNS resolution across the boundary requires fluency in both GCP's and OCI's networking primitives at once, not just one or the other. Identity federation between Google Cloud IAM and OCI IAM is the second common gap, since it's easy to know GCP's IAM model well but be shaky on how OCI compartments and policies map onto it during onboarding.

Sample question

A customer has onboarded Oracle Database@Google Cloud and provisioned an Autonomous Database instance. Application workloads running in a GCP VPC need to connect to the database privately, without exposing an endpoint on the public internet. Which architectural element makes this private connectivity possible?

  • A. A Cloud NAT gateway attached to the GCP VPC
  • B. An ODB network peered with the customer's GCP VPC
  • C. A public load balancer with an allow-list of GCP IP ranges
  • D. A GCP service account granted the OCI Administrator role

How long to prepare

For someone already comfortable with GCP networking/IAM and with OCI Exadata or Autonomous Database concepts, two to three weeks of targeted review is enough to be ready for the 50-question, 90-minute exam. If your background is stronger on one cloud than the other, which is common, plan on four to five weeks so the multicloud identity and networking topics get proper attention.
